Cadets star at opening of new Jet Age Museum.
The Corps of Drums from 785 (Tewkesbury) Squadron and cadets from 2322 (Dowty) Squadron assisted at the official opening of the Jet Age Museum at Gloucestershire Airport. The Museum is situated just a few miles from Brockworth where the world’s first jet powered aircraft made its maiden flight. It features a collection of ten historic jet aircraft and hopes to inspire a future generation of pilots and engineers. 785 Squadron’s impressive Corps of Drums were filmed and made it onto local BBC and ITV television news bulletins - a starring role at Gloucestershire’s star new attraction!.
