Armed Forces Day Bristol 2019
This morning, the Lord Lieutenant of Bristol, Mrs Peaches Golding OBE, joined members of the City of Bristol and the Armed Forces in a flag-raising ceremony at Bristol City Hall.
The event marks the start of Armed Forces week which leads up to Armed Forces Day, the national day of recognition and support for all those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces of the UK.
She was supported by Cadet Warrant Officer Charlotte Moss of 2152 (Downend) Detached Flight, part of Bristol & Gloucestershire Wing Air Training Corps. She is currently serving as the RAF Air Cadets’ Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for the City and County of Bristol.
Cadet Warrant Officer Moss formally raised the ensign in Bristol to mark the occasion and then supported the Lord Lieutenant on an Inspection of the parade assembled in front of City Hall.
